The Department of Won-Buddhism fosters the primar y role of modernizing, living, and popularizing Won Buddhist ideas and ideologies, cultivating Won Buddhist experts in various fields and human resources who can activate general society and edification scenes. The department implements educational strategies such as the practical application of Won Buddhist doctrine, interdisciplinar y diversification, and comprehensive application, and trains the only mind study instructors in Korea.
