Greetings, I am Kim Yun-chul,
President of Wonkwang Digital University.

Wonkwang Digital University established based on the longstanding educational traditions of the Wonkwang Educational Foundation, with the goal of promoting open education and lifelong learning. We have continuously grown and developed to become a prestigious cyber university, leading the way in wellness culture. Our institution is widely recognized for offering 17 majors across three divisions namely the Division of Well-Being Health Care, the Division of Korean Culture, and the Division of Practical Welfare. Additionally, we have the Division of Natural Health in the Graduate School of Wellness and Culture, designed to meet the evolving needs of our students and anticipate the demands of society.

Wonkwang Digital University takes the motto of "Creating Happiness through Wisdom and Virtue" as its guiding principle. Our dedicated faculty and staff constantly strive to instill true character and virtue in our students, alongside the practical expertise required by modern society, guiding them on their path to happiness.

To effectively deliver practical expertise, we have established a systematic customized curriculum for all departments and provide the highest-quality educational content. We are also addressing the limitations of non-face-to-face education by activating the Center for Extracurricular Activities and launching the Future Education Innovation Center, which incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) technology to optimize teaching and learning experiences.

Moreover, Wonkwang Digital University is contributing significantly to the cultivation of students' virtues through the operation of the 'Psychological Counseling Center' along with the establishment of appropriate liberal arts courses. These efforts foster true character and virtue, guiding our students to become upstanding individuals, both morally and academically through the WONCoaching Service. In particular, our Student Counseling Center, one of the university's greatest sources of pride, operates under the direct supervision of the president. Staffed by professional counselors, the center ensures students receive comprehensive support from admission to graduation, and we are committed to fostering happiness beyond graduation as well.
