Goal for specialization for the Division of Wellbeing Health of Wonkwang Digital University (WDU) is to ‘nurture medicinal food experts taking the lead in a healthy society’. To this end, the goal is set as follows:
Modernize traditional medicinal food.
Promote the popularity of healthy medicinal food.
Six specific steps, required to implement strategies for developing educational goals, are set as below
Develop standard medicinal food education courses
Support academic activities related to medicinal food.
Establish and support hands-on medicinal food programs
Build an industry-academy cooperation mechanism.
